I wanted to add my voice to the choir singing the praises of this app. The UI is very clean and simple. More importantly, it works flawlessly to manipulate PDF files. I highly recommend it.

I use PDFs for my portofilo and I often need to create new PDFs of smaller stories then shrink them down in size. This app is fantastic for that, it makes it so easy to take pages from one document, cut them out and put them in another PDF. Granted you do have to do some file juggling, but for how much this app costs it’s an absolute godsend. The interface needs a bit of work and it’d be nice if it could handle multiple files at once, but overall I’m very happy with PDF Toolkit +.

We’ve been using PDF Toolkit for several years - and now the latest version of PDF Toolkit + is better and faster. We compress PDFs daily. Easy to use, never fails. Highly recommended.

Great app that does it all for PDF files. I use it mostly to merge several files into a single PDF, even if I have a several dozens. What I use most is the compression mode, so that I can send large PDF files via e-mail. The files produced are often too large, and the compression window with its many settings lets me choose exactly the size I need. Simply drag your PDF into the program and choose the size you want. It works very well with files with large images, but the quality remains very good. Essential must have program!

I have been using this “app” for a few years & works as advertised! Beautifully designed & easy to use. Does everything I need. A MUST have as a Utility.

I’ve used it to merge PDFs and I’ve used it to split PDFs, both of which it does elegantly and without error. It doesn’t have a million bells and whistles, but it does what it advertises well. If you’re like me and don’t need all the features or expense of the Adobe equivalent, it’s a more than worthwhile purchase.

I have many scanned docs that crash Preview. When using this app to change the pdfs to lower quality of the high quality 300 DPI, the results cannot be visibly noticed. I tested this with multiple files viewing in Adobe with multiple people. The only way we could tell the difference was to look at the size of the file, which we very different. And now I can once again use Preview for editing. The developer is very keen on providing troubleshooting assistance as well.

This application could not open PDF files, so all its functions are unaccessible. Just wasted €2.

Not worth paying for!!!

I’ve just bought this program, using it in Mavericks. Keeps crashing all time. I want my money back. I’ve had face some issues with this version. But now, all problems was solved. They gave attention to me and my concern, everything fine. I recommend it. It’s a good program. Thank you very much!!!!

I love this program. It’s very lean and does exactely what its supposed to do: scan documents into PDFs. It’s fast, easy to use, has integrated OCR (which works great for me) and I love the descew function as well. Very nice extras such as fake duplex and a „save selection“ function make this really awesome. And best of all: the output PDFs are really small in file size! Only downside are occasional crashes, but that might be my machine only.

Does exactly what it is advertized for, and was what I needed for my purposes: I needed to merge several PDFs and to reduce the file size (the PDFs contained some sizable images) without apparent quality loss. The resulting file size was smaller than the sum of the sizes of the individual PDFs and the images still looked good. One issue which you might want to know: When merging files, you might need to run the PDF shrink option separately afterwards to obtain small PDF sizes, this happened to me, but shrinking worked very well. Excellent tool for the price I paid ($1.99), recommended.

I am working on a huge heritage web-site for my hometown. We are posting very large exhibits which when scanned in at a decent resolution takes up several megabytes even in PDF format.I have used Adobe Reader and acrobat for years at work but never used more that a few features. I downloaded PDF Toolkit+ software and used it to shrink files for web-publishing without any effort or instruction. I like simple. It does many other fancy things I am sure and I will use those features as time goes on, but based on my experience so, I am anticipating they will work flawlessly as well. I would give it a full rating if I was more familiar with some of the other features.

This app did what I needed it to do and saved me the expense of other higher-priced programs. THANK YOU!! I needed to merge several documents into one PDF for a proposal. This app was successful and the quality of the document was excellent. It was necessary to save my various documents as PDFs first before I could use this program to merge them; however, I considered the extra step worth my time given the cost savings.

Very easily lets you split, concatenate and compress files. The best $2 i have ever spent.

Wow, Ive been struggling with Preview to "concatenate" pdf documents for years. Thank you!! this application will save me many hours per week and loads of frustration. This app works as advertised - awesome.

PDF Toolkit+ is AWESOME!! I am a Graphic Designer who is often given PDFs and asked to use the images within. I had a paid version of Adobe Acrobat CS4 but when I upgraded my computer my paid version wouldnt install and the people at Adobe just blew me off as if it was something I was doing wrong. So without any way of extracting images Ive been struggling ever since. But not anymore, now I have PDF Toolkit+. In fact it works way better then Adobe Acrobat at extracting images and text but at a fraction of the price. I give this program five stars.

This is a great app for a whole bunch of .PDF tasks. I use it everyday to quickly merge multiple PDf documents. It just works. Now that I can overwrite existing files, it works even better! Thanks for the update.
