Excellent

I was having trouble getting my Canon Pixma MG7120 to make it through scanning a full document without crapping out halfway through with a communication error and forcing me to start a new PDF file to store the remaining pages. So, I figured I could use Preview (Mavericks) to contatenate the two. Not so much. You’re supposed to be able to contatenate PDFs by opening the first PDF enabling Thumbnails view and just dragging the 2nd file where you want it in the Thumbnails pane. It appears to do just that but the saved PDF only contains the first file! ARGH!

PDF Toolkit + does contatenation perfectly and easily!
